Getting Posterized

Developing the research poster for the 2018 ORS Spring Symposium

Posted by Nelson Raphael April 8th, 2018

Our poster is a slam dunk!

We are getting ready for the research symposium for Opportunity Research Scholars. Therefore it is time for a new poster to be made.

There aren't a whole lot of poster changes as compared to our poster last year. One new addition though is the coordinator section. It encompasses a lot of the information from the vision processing from last year's poster since it uses the visual perception to coordinate the selection of which primitive to execute.

As far as my responsibilities for the presentation I will be discussing the push primitive and the results of our research so far. When we presented last year at this time only two push strategies existed, however, now there are a total of three. One is the default straighten strategy. Another is the substrategy of inch and lastly the newest one is the substrategy of gather.
